…LOST 2011 Surfboard Models Median Dimension Chart

This chart serves as a general guide to what our various models will look like in a retail setting. These numbers are optimum stock dims for th emodels, to ensure the flow between outline and rocker, but are not in stone. This is both a guide for deciding whether to choose a stock board or custom order one with your own dims; and also a guide for quiver bulding.

NOW FEATURING CUBIC VOLUME IN LITERS VOLUME CHART – Beginning in fall of 2010, all …..Lost surfboards now come with the “Cubic Volume” of the shaped blank (in liters) writen on the stringer. This helps as a guide for surfers to re-order boards and get the same amount of flotation that they are used to. It also allows for more fine tuned quiver building. We will use it as a tool to track our customer’s needs the same way as we use the surfers’s weight and or style of surfing.

The “cl” of all our stock dimensions is now in the Dim Chart (in this catalog) as well, so surfers can see what size of a grovel board might match the volume of the high performance shortboard they already have. Overall, it’s a reat tool to help us all learn more about what’s going on under our feet and make ordering a board a more accurate process.
